Fish out Sowore brother’s killers, Fayemi begs police

EKITI State Governor and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has urged the Nigerian Police to fish out the killers of Olajide Sowore, brother of a former presidential candidate and activist, Omoyele Sowore.

The governor also charged the police authorities to rescue the five persons, who were abducted at the point where Olajide Sowore on Saturday along Lagos-Benin Expressway.

Fayemi, in a statement on Monday titled, ‘Fayemi urges police to fish out Sowore’s killers’, described the incident as “unfortunate and saddening”, saying, “The death of the younger Sowore and indeed several other killings of innocent citizens is a source of concern to me.

Sowore’ death, an irreparable loss, says varsity

Meanwhile, the management of Igbinedion University has described the death of Olajide Felix Sowore, as an irreparable loss.

On the school’s website on Monday, a statement read, “The Management, staff and students of Igbinedion University, Okada, received with deep sense of loss the news of the unfortunate death of Mr. Olajide Sowore, a 200-Level Pharmacy student of the university.” Punchng
