Newcastle United's Remarkable Rise: Dominating Manchester Sides, PSG, and Aiming for European Glory

After an extraordinary campaign that saw them finish fourth last season, Newcastle United has continued to create memorable moments in the current season. They knocked both Manchester sides out of the Carabao Cup, defeating Sheffield United and Aston Villa with convincing scores of 8-0 and 5-1, respectively. 

Their stunning 4-1 victory over Paris St. Germain in the Champions League added to their growing list of achievements.

All of this comes after a shaky start that saw them lose three of their first four games. However, in domestic competitions, they have remained undefeated in their subsequent eight matches.

With 26 Premier League goals already in the bag from just 10 games, they also boast the best shot conversion rate in the league at 18.6 percent and the second-highest expected goals total of 22.1.

In European competition, they've been drawn into a challenging group and have fought admirably. A draw with AC Milan at the San Siro and a stunning win against PSG have been among their notable feats.
